Special Note for Junior Trekkers
For participants below 15 years, a parent or guardian must accompany them. Trekkers aged 15 to 18 can participate solo but must provide a signed disclaimer form from a parent or guardian.
Har Ki Dun is best visited from April to June and September to November. During summer, temperatures range from 10°C to 25°C during the day, dropping to 2°C to 5°C at night, making it ideal for trekking with clear skies and blooming alpine meadows. Autumn months witness temperatures between 5°C to 15°C during the day and 0°C to -5°C at night, offering crisp air and stunning views of snow-dusted peaks.
The valley transforms into a lush green haven during summer, with vibrant wildflowers carpeting the meadows and dense forests alive with chirping birds. Autumn, on the other hand, unveils a different charm, with golden-hued landscapes and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains.
In winter, Har Ki Dun becomes a snowy paradise, perfect for seasoned adventurers, with temperatures plunging to as low as -10°C at night. However, trekking during this time is challenging and requires proper preparation.
